Sunlight, shadow, and the space between.

EHHKO is the artist name of Krystina Dowdell, a Denver producer, songwriter and DJ. The work sits where a candlelit choir meets a basement sound system: soft keys, low-end that hums and hits, and a voice placed close to the mic.

Years of piano, voice, burlesque and go-go dancing, including four seasons singing in the Epcot Candlelight Processional, taught her that a room goes quiet when you give it something to hold onto.
